Our Story

Two passionate bakers, one shared dream—bringing the joy of baking to kids! 

At Giggles & Sprinkles, we are passionate about blending creativity, learning, and fun through baking. Founded by a former chef, Maria, and a pediatric occupational therapist practitioner, Vian, we share a passion for baking and working with kids. Our mission is to offer a unique, fun, and interactive experience that helps children build a positive relationship with food while creating memories that last a lifetime.

Maria has always had a love for the art and passion of cooking.  Since her early days as a child, baking cookies and making cakes, her passion for the culinary art has been non-stop. Making complex meals for friends and catering for private events lead her to culinary school and becoming a licensed chef.  She refined her skills, knowledge and gained experience working at 2941 Restaurant. Beyond her restaurant experience, she works with the INOVA Healthy Plate Club, teaching kids and parents about the joys of healthy eating and helping families understand the importance of balanced meals and mindful eating habits.   

Vian is a pediatric occupational therapist with 10 years of experience helping children develop essential life skills. She also runs a Kids Baking Club at her workplace, where she brings her expertise and creativity to inspire kids through baking.

Through our Kids Baking Classes, we provide hands-on opportunities for children to explore the art of baking. Whether it’s learning to decorate cookies, experimenting with sprinkles, or mastering the perfect cupcake, every class is designed to spark creativity and confidence.

We also specialize in hosting unforgettable events, from birthday parties and school events to at-home baking celebrations. With our focus on flavors, fun, and fostering meaningful connections, your child’s special day will be truly one-of-a-kind.

At the heart of what we do is the belief that baking is more than just mixing ingredients—it’s about sharing joy, creating connections, and inspiring a love for the kitchen.
